As an area of showers and thunderstorms moved west to east across southern middle Tennessee during the mid afternoon hours on August 11th, thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall that resulted in flash flooding across southeastern portions of Wayne and southwestern portions of Lawrence Counties, resulting in water over several roadways across this region.
