Periods of heavy rain fell between the 18th and 22nd across the northwest corner of South Carolina, mostly of over Oconee and western Pickens Counties. The highest rainfall total for the period was 15.15 inches, reported by a cooperative observer at the Walhalla Fish Hatchery in northwest Oconee County. Most of the flooding occurred on the 20th.
