Widespread heavy rainfall and flooding occurred across southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks. The heavy rainfall was associated with several rounds of efficient rain producing stratiform events along a stalled warm front. Isolated convective elements embedded in the system and a few ahead of the system also produce some enhanced rainfall.
