A continuous rain on Friday the 5th became heavier in the evening over the southwestern counties of West Virginia. Twelve hour rains of over an inch caused minor stream flooding along roads across portions of Lincoln, Putnam, Cabell, Kanawha, Roane, Jackson, Mason, and Calhoun.
