A strong to severe line of thunderstorms moved through North Texas during the morning hours of January 28th. All of the severe weather reports were associated with straight-line winds in the 60 to 65 mph range. Some instances of flash flooding and flooding occurred later in the day as light to moderate rain continued to fall on already saturated soils.
