Snow melt combined with several periods of rain brought high water and flooding to the Missouri River from north of Omaha downstream past its confluence with the Platte River south of Omaha. The flooding north of Omaha mainly affected agricultural lowlands near the river, but county roads and some recreation areas were also flooded.
