Strong coastal low pressure resulted in 5 to 7 inches of rain and caused moderate flooding on the Suncook and Lamprey Rivers in southern New Hampshire. The Lamprey River at Newmarket remained in flood through the end of the month. Total damages in Newmarket and on the Suncook River at Chichester amounted to well over half a million dollars.
