Strong coastal low pressure produced rainfall of 5 to 8 inches resulting in county wide flooding of small rivers and streams across numerous counties in New Hampshire. Road washouts were widespread with major damage occurring to roadways. Homes and businesses were also flooded. Total flood damages amounted to almost 8 million dollars across 6 counties, mainly in southern New Hampshire.
