A narrow band of strong to severe storms impacted southern Ottawa and north central Kent counties with very heavy rain and flooding, in addition to minor wind damage and hail. ||The band of thunderstorms that developed during the afternoon on Memorial Day remained nearly stationary resulting in very heavy rain and flooding.
