A cold front moved into South Central Texas and stalled. This lead to the development of two mesoscale convective systems which produced severe thunderstorms and flash flooding. Some of the higher rainfall totals for this event were 4.05 inches in Bexar county, 5.60 inches in Caldwell county, 7.50 inches in Bandera county, and 8.25 inches in Medina county.
