Severe thunderstorms associated with a cold pool from an upper level low developed during the early morning hours of May 13th. The storms produced hail, winds up to 60 mph, flooding and three confirmed tornadoes. Tornadoes impacted the communities of Monett, Sparta and Hurley in Missouri.
