May 2, 2010
A slow moving weather pattern developed during the first two days of May and supported a couple rounds of thunderstorms both on Saturday and Sunday. While our area was spared the larger severe weather outbreak, we did manage to have a few rounds of severe storms on Saturday evening and then again Sunday afternoon. The most significant storms occurred Sunday afternoon and brought large hail, between golf ball and baseball sized, to portions of central Mississippi.
