Early morning thunderstorms across southwest Arkansas and northeast Texas produced an outflow boundary that afternoon convection developed on across northwest Louisiana. This activity developed in a very unstable and moist air mass. These storms were prolific rainfall producers with a few reports of flash flooding reported in northwest Louisiana.
