Flooding occurred late on June 15th and into the 16th across portions of Kent county. Numerous road closures occurred due to high water. Flooding resulted in the evacuation of 15 residents from a retirement complex in Kentwood, Michigan; estimated damage was $250,000 for the retirement complex.
