Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms marched eastward across northern San Juan County during the afternoon of the 8th. Though the storms were moving east-northeast around 20 mph, they managed to drop significant amounts of rainfall in a short amount of time. Flash floods were reported north of Farmington, and east of Bloomfield. Winds also overturned a mobile home near Shiprock.
