Storms developed along a remnant boundary across southwest Missouri during the afternoon. Ample instability in conjunction with the development of storms along the boundary, developed a brief EF-0 tornado which touched down in Barton County. Additional storms produce areas of heavy rainfall, high winds and hail. During the evening hours, a supercell which developed over southeast Kansas moved across extreme southwest Missouri, producing hail, wind damage and flooding after producing an EF-1 torn
