A line of severe thunderstorms moved out of Minnesota and into western and central Wisconsin during the morning hours of August 13th. Strong winds created tree and minor structural damage, while widespread heavy rain of 3 to 4 inches caused some flash flooding, road closures, and rises along rivers, streams and creeks. Significant damage occurred to roads, homes and businesses in west central Wisconsin due to the flooding with an estimated $2.78 million in damage to public sector infrastructur
