Slow-moving thunderstorms over the same area and producing very heavy rainfall resulted in flash flooding across the south central Texas Panhandle during the evening hours. Numerous vehicles were stranded in the high water, however no injuries were reported. Also, downed power lines were reported at Bell Street and McCormick Road.
