Another storm system moved across the state late in the month. The heaviest rain fell over the south half of the state. This resulted in a short duration flooding event along the lower Des Moines River Basin and its tributaries. The flooding was relatively minor for the most part, though the Middle River in Indianola rose to crest between 3 and 4 feet over flood stage.
