Above normal to record precipitation of 5 to 9 inches occurred in April across a large area of New York State. There was above normal snowpack across the higher elevations of the Adirondacks with snow depths at least a foot above normal. A warm front lifted northward across the area on Tuesday, April 26th, ushering in a warm and humid airmass.
