Thunderstorms fired late in the day, around 1900E, across southern Ohio, in response to mid level support reaching a pseudo warm front.||A southwest inflow of moisture laden air supported the convection well into the night. The thunderstorms moved east reaching into Ritchie County between 2200 and 2300E. Rain amounts of 2.5 to 3 inches fell in the Cairo to Harrisville vicinity in about 2 hours, with slightly lesser totals toward Pennsboro and Ellenboro.
