Showers and thunderstorms tracked southeastward along a warm front draped across parts of southeast Iowa, northeast Missouri, and west central Illinois during the early morning hours of June 5. The storms produced hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain as they moved across the area. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches lead to some flash flooding near Hamilton, IL.
