Thunderstorms developed in a very humid airmass over Ohio during the late afternoon. Some of these storms became severe. With the large amount of moisture to work with, some of these storms also produced flash flooding. The storms persisted into the early evening hours. The severe weather threats were large hail, damaging thunderstorm winds, and flash flooding.
