A Pacific storm system moving through the region resulted in heavy rain across northeast Washington. Flooding and debris flows were reported across the Okanogan Highlands and Northeast Mountain regions with snowmelt contributing to the soggy conditions across the area. A southwest to northeast oriented band developed over the Spokane area during the evening hours with around three-quarters to one inch of rainfall falling in places over a two hour period.
