A strong cold front approached eastern New York from the west Tuesday afternoon on June 19th, and produce widespread showers and thunderstorms, some of which were severe.||In addition, several clusters of thunderstorms containing very heavy rainfall moved across portions of the eastern Catskills, resulting in localized flash flooding.
