After an active severe weather day on June 18th, the atmosphere quickly recovered and was able to support additional severe weather which began in the late evening and persisted through the overnight hours. Severe weather during the overnight hours in June is quite rare but does occur on occasion. One of the overnight storms actually produced a rare June tornado!
