A weak upper level disturbance moved through Northern Mississippi during the late afternoon and evening hours on September 6, 2012. The disturbance combined with a moist and unstable airmass to trigger isolated thunderstorms over Northern Mississippi. There were a few reports of damaging winds and flash flooding.
