Showers and thunderstorms moved across the region during the morning hours of June 18th as well as the afternoon and evening hours. These storms trained across the same general area and produced copious amounts of rainfall, some of which produced flash flooding. Some of these storms became linear in nature and downed trees and powerlines as they moved east.
