Flash Flood — Ashtabula, OH

Jun 27, 2013

Slow moving showers and thunderstorms moved into Ashtabula County with the heaviest rain falling between 8 am and noon. A COOP observer in Dorset measured over 4 inches of rain during this time. The ground, already saturated from a near record rainfall for the month of June, could not absorb the rain and subsequently produced excessive runoff.
