A tornadic storm moved through Union City on the evening of the 28th. Heavy rain accompanied this storm with a 15 minute ASOS rain gage reading of 0.65. The storm total rain the river basin that Union City resides in was approximately 4. Significant flooding accompanied the tornado damage in Union City.
