A slow moving upper low over southern Louisiana fueled the development of numerous thunderstorms across the area. Several reports of flooding were received along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, as up to 8 inches of rain fell across the area. Total damage to roads across Jackson County Mississippi due to flash flooding was estimated at $1,500,000.
