June turned out to be a very wet month across the region with many places 3 to 5 inches above normal. Heavy rain fell during the first two days of June and was scattered during the last half of the month. Many places saw more than 5 inches of rain fall for the month, and Paducah, KY recorded 9.11 inches. This was the fourth wettest June on record at Paducah.
