Jun 2, 2013
June turned out to be a very wet month across the region with many places 3 to 5 inches above normal. Heavy rain fell during the first two days of June and was scattered during the last half of the month. Many places saw more than 5 inches of rain fall for the month. The heavy rainfall across the Mississippi Valley during the last few days of May and first couple days of June sent many rivers rising. Minor flooding occurred on portions of smaller rivers, such as the Current and Black Rivers.
