A humid environment existed over West Virginia with surface dew points in the lower 70s. A weak steering flow existed. Several small clusters of slow moving showers and embedded thunderstorms formed over West Virginia on the 8th, well south of a cold front across northern Ohio.||The front sagged slowly south into the 10th. Another round of convection occurred near dawn on the 10th in the Huntington to Charleston corridor.
