A cold front approached on the 12th and moved through most of the state on the 13th. The front triggered isolated severe storms, heavy rain, and some flash flooding. For the 24-hour period ending at 7 AM on the 13th, a station 12.9 miles east of Mount Ida (Montgomery Co. near the Garland Co. line) measured 4.64 inches of rain.
