The remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea tracked across southeastern Massachusetts bringing heavy rain (3-5 inches) to much of southern New England. This resulted in significant urban flooding, particularly across eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as river and small stream flooding. It also contributed to record high rainfall across the area for the month of June.
