Thunderstorms produced flooding rains over portions of South Central Wisconsin and far southern Southeast Wisconsin. The storms produced damaging wind gusts over Lafayette and Dane counties. The storms formed on moderate low-level flow ahead of short wave trough that interacted with an existing outflow boundary over the region.
