Rare early morning storms moved across the Mississippi Delta region and produced locally heavy rainfall. Some flooding occurring during the morning from Lake Washington to Anguilla as storms moved slowly across the area. By afternoon, thunderstorms became numerous and several reached severe limits and produced hail and damaging winds.
