A strong stationary front with a 40 degree temperature gradient setup along the Wisconsin and Illinois border. Numerous strong to severe thunderstorms developed and moved east to northeast across southern Wisconsin. Dozens of hail reports were received with only a couple wind damage reports. Heavy rain lead to flash flooding of small creeks in southern Sauk County.
