A storm system moved across New York and New England Tuesday, April 4th, with steady rain. Mild temperatures resulted in melting mountain snows. As a result, many streams and rivers rose to bankfull or above with some flooding. Specifically, in Windsor county, Route 14 in East Bethel was closed due to flood waters on the road from the second branch of the White River from approximately 10 AM to 2 PM.
