Heavy thunderstorm rains during the early morning of the 2nd flooded and closed the intersection of Eighth Street and Rockbridge Road, and washed out 2 driveways in Glasgow. The first floor of one home in Glasgow was also flooded resulting in damage. Heavy rain in the southern part of Rockbridge County caused several small streams to flood, closing some roads.In Amherst County, heavy rain caused Maple Run to flood onto Route 665, one and a half miles south of Lowesville, and the Pedlar River to
