An area of thunderstorms developed along a cold front moving through the southeast sections of West Central Texas. A supercell developed in southern Sutton County, producing two tornadoes, but little damage. The front then stalled overnight, with thunderstorms training across parts of the Northwest Hill Country and Heartland. Three to five inches of rain was common, causing flooding and road closures.
