General rains developed along and just east of the I-35 corridor in the eastern part of South Central Texas. Accumulations averaged 1 to 2 inches with isolated 3 to 4 inch amounts. Soils had remained saturated from flooding on the 5th and from additional rainfall on the 12th, and brief flash flooding redeveloped across the area. Sheriffs departments and amateur radio operators reported numerous low areas flooded and low water crossings under water.
