Rainfall of generally 2 to 3 inches, with isolated totals approaching 5 inches, continued through the late morning into the mid afternoon from Seguin to LaGrange to Hallettsville to Karnes City to Pleasanton and back to Seguin. Soils across this area had already been brought to saturation by widespread light to moderate rainfall over the past several days and flash flooding developed over the counties, ending in the late evening.
