Nov 3, 2000
A slow moving upper level storm system combined with abundant low level moisture to produce widespread flooding across the Northwest Hill Country, Northern Edwards Plateau, and Heartland. Many roads became flooded and impassable, as up to 10 inches of rain fell in a 12 hour period. Tragically, one man was killed when he tried to cross a flooded low water crossing in Mason County.
