Well ahead of a strong cold front in Indiana, one cluster of thunderstorms moved southeast through Ohio during the afternoon, reaching northern West Virginia during the evening hours. With a lot of wind energy above the ground, some storm cells pulsed to severe limits despite nightfall. Storm surveys concluded 2 brief tornadoes touched down.
