Repeated heavy rains caused record flooding of the Rock River in Rock County in extreme southwest Minnesota. The flooding took place from June 15th through June 20th. Numerous roads and some homes and businesses were flooded, as well as farmland and other lowlands along the river. In Luverne the flooding also included parkland and part of Interstate 90.
