Thunderstorms during the afternoon of the 13th produced damaging winds and heavy rain that resulted in flash flooding.Heavy rains caused Little Stony Creek to flood 3 miles northeast of Pembroke, requiring several people to be rescued. Little Stony Creek also flooded onto Route 623, one mile northeast of Pembroke, and heavy thunderstorm rains also washed out a road in Warm Springs.Thunderstorm winds downed trees across Bath County, and a large tree onto a house in Virgilina, causing minor damag
