Thunderstorm rains during the afternoon and evening of the 29th produced flash flooding.Heavy thunderstorm rain caused streams and creeks to flood, closing some roads in Greenbrier County. Severe flash flooding in Hines resulted in damage to 5 homes and necessitated evacuations. Heavy rain flooded streams and creeks and closed roads from 2 miles north of Lindside to 3 miles northeast of Lindside, from Rock Camp to 3 miles northeast of Rock Camp, and 1 mile west of Hinton.
