Rainfall totals of three to six inches fell over portions of McDonald County during the late afternoon. One observer reported three inches of rainfall in less than one hour in Tiff City. Noel reported the worse damage when a mudslide occurred along Highway 59, which caused several large boulders to block the highway for several hours. Several campgrounds reported flowing water up four feet in depth during the height of the storm.
